Our client is a leading NFP industry body for the staffing industry. A new opportunity for an experienced professional with a law degree, to join the team as Advocacy & Professional Standards Manager.
Reporting to the Head of Policy & Advocacy, this is a busy fast fast-paced role, that will see you develop key relationships with government and key external stakeholders to promote the staffing industry and advocate for issues that benefit the industry.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Developing submissions and policy papers that consolidate and clearly communicate the organisations position on key policy and industry issues.
- Supporting the Head of Policy & Advocacy to deliver advocacy campaigns and respond to policy and regulatory issues.
- Building relationships with key stakeholders to promote the organisations Code of Professional Conduct
- Act as Professional Conduct Registrar, overseeing professional conduct matters according to the Code of Professional Conduct and Professional Conduct Grievance Intervention Guidelines.
- Deliver clear, engaging and compelling written communications for use in policy feedback forums as well as for key stakeholders, digital and social channels and other member organisations
- Develop and implement a range of advocacy campaigns and programs designed to enhance the recognition and reputation of the staffing industry with communities and governments in Australia and New Zealand.
- Develop and maintain relationships with a range of key stakeholders including members, client and business member organisations, government, reference groups and other influencers.
