The **Sydney Royal Easter Show** is the largest annual ticketed event staged in the Southern Hemisphere and we are currently looking for experienced Administration Assistants willing to work on short-term contracts to assist in the delivery of various Livestock Competition & Event exhibits for the 2024 Royal Easter Show.

These Livestock exhibits include **Sheep & Poultry, Goat, Pig & Alpaca and Cattle. **A genuine interest in Livestock and Agriculture is highly desirable.

You will be responsible for the delivery of a range of duties including, but not limited to:

- Support the daily operations of the respective Livestock Competitions at the Sydney Royal Easter Show
- Sound comprehension of Livestock Sections' rules and regulations
- Assist in setting up and dismantling livestock exhibits, following health regulations as instructed
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including Committee Members, Exhibitors, Officials, and Sponsors
- Perform data entry tasks, as well as assist in processing and proofreading result transactions and printing result documentation
- Correspond with breed societies, judges and stewards, issue invitations and monitor acceptances, including arranging flight and accommodation details
- Sort ribbons and judging cards on a daily basis and distribute trophies
- Assist in the smooth running of the Livestock Sections during the Show, supporting Pavilion Superintendents and Committees
- Other duties as may reasonably be given

These roles are contract roles until April 2024, and will require you to work the 2024 Sydney Royal Easter Show period **(22 March to 2 April 2024)**.

Office hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm; however, the nature of this role requires some weekend, evening and public holiday work.

**Qualifications**
- Knowledge of Livestock industries and Livestock breeds will be highly regarded

**Experience**
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in administration
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Problem solving, planning and organisational skills
- Ability to liaise with all levels of stakeholders
- Customer service experience

**Computer Skills**
- An intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite
- Database experience

**Person Specifications**
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong initiative, motivation and adaptability
- Excellent time management skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Good interpersonal skills and a strong team player
- Willingness to follow directions and coordinate various tasks and skills simultaneously
