**Associate, Statutory Reporting**
- Join Corporate Services, a group within the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport (DCITHS)
- Clerk Grade 7/8 with a salary range of $106,025 - $117,363per annum plus superannuation
- Ongoing role based in Sydney, NSW

**About the role**

The Associate, Statutory Reporting role ensures timely and efficient financial accounting and reporting for the department and agencies supported by DCITHS.

Key responsibilities include:

- preparing interim and year-end financial statements and NSW Treasury returns,
- liaising with the external auditors; collaborating with stakeholders on finance and reporting relate projects,
- maintaining data integrity and quality of accounting records,
- contribute to establishing robust internal controls, procedures and process improvements.

**About You**

You are a proactive and adaptable professional with a strong understanding of fundamentals of accounting, reporting and financial processes, and well-developed skills in preparing financial statements. You should have knowledge of accounting standards and public sector accounting practices and requirements, and experience using accounting related software such as SAP, Oracle or similar.
