Job Overview

The Coca-Cola Company's Finance Hub is seeking a highly skilled Global Statutory Reporting Leader to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving the evolution of statutory reporting by leveraging the latest technology, standardizing and enhancing processes, and maintaining top-tier data quality.

About the Role

  • You will lead a regional team of Statutory Center of Excellence Controllers (Stat Controllers) and manage the audit process for that region, including planning timelines and tracking compliance.
  • You will keep abreast of the latest statutory reporting rules and requirements applicable to the legal entities in the region.
  • You will take global ownership of the local generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) impairment process for investments, trademarks, and other tangible or intangible assets.
  • You will collaborate and communicate with multiple cross-functional stakeholders from various points of the enterprise's organizational hierarchy.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Leverage your expertise in financial and management accounting areas to drive improvement in overall shareholder value.
  2. Develop and implement best-in-class compliance strategies to stay ahead of regulatory requirements.
  3. Partner with finance teams and senior leadership to evaluate statutory compliance, manage escalations, and ensure seamless business continuity.
  4. Manage and develop a team of talented associates, providing meaningful challenges while coaching and mentoring them.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in Finance with a geographical work scope, involving financial and/or management accounting areas.
  • MBA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS/Local GAAP as discipline basis for statutory reporting.
  • General knowledge of regulatory environments.
  • Understanding of financial and/or information tools and systems.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
