**Salary Classification**: Administration Officer Level 6 Year 1-2

**Remuneration**: $39.14-$40.07 per hour excluding any applicable loadings, and superannuation.

About the role

The Executive Assistant works with the Emergency Department Executive Team to provide high level administrative duties, medical rostering, payroll and project management support to the Senior Executive Team.

Key Responsibilities

Provide secretariat support to meetings and committees as required.
Receive, screen and manage incoming calls and communication including IMS+ complaint recording.
Assist in the development and coordination of on-site education programs for non-trainee medical officers.
Undertake rostering tasks related to the JMO ED Medical rosters, ensuring legislative and training requirements at met.

What you bring

Experience in team leadership and supervising staff.
Highly developed communication, negotiation, interpersonal and liaison skills.
Demonstrated ability in Junior Medical Officer Workforce management including rostering, payroll and Locum management.
Experience in providing administrative and secretariat support at an executive level, demanding discretion in issues management.

The Calvary Mater Newcastle is an Affiliated Health Organisation providing services to both public and private patients primarily from the Hunter New England area. Current employees of NSW Health can request to have various leave entitlement balances transferred to Calvary Mater Newcastle on commencement. Leave types may include but not limited to Long Service Leave, Annual Leave and Sick Leave. Applicants are encouraged to discuss this with the Convenor for further information.
