**Position Overview**

Just having satisfied customers isn’t good enough anymore. If we really want a booming business, we need to create raving fans. And that experience all begins with a customer’s first front-of-house experience.

It is the responsibility of all front of house employees to create a fun, polite and respectful experience for every customer that walks into a STACKED store.

Front of House staff are pivotal in ensuring efficient operations and are relied upon to always deliver exceptional service. They are responsible for greeting and serving customers, preparing beverages including coffee, payments, maintaining the seating area, and ensuring all standards of safety, sanitation and cleanliness are upheld.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Cashiers**
- Ensure the customer always comes first through Service, Quality & Experience.
- Introduce the STACKED Rewards Program and let the customer know that they can receive $5 of their first order (and other benefits) simply by downloading the STACKED Rewards app
- Alert management to areas requiring additional attention, menu items or ingredients that are out of stock.
- Handle customer complaints in a professional manner ensuring a positive experience.
- Suggestive sell and promote seasonal menu items and promotions.
- Ensure compliance with effective cash control such as correct safe drop procedures and always observing site security measures.
- Ensure all equipment is in excellent working condition and action equipment maintenance accordingly.
- Support all promotional items, and product innovation activities, providing feedback on campaigns.
- Create a safe, secure and healthy workplace environment by following all ITC procedures and the Stacked Food Safety program
- Ensuring compliance and completion of daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules.
- Complete all aspects of induction and training as required by store management.
- Seek clarification on training if required and follow instructions at all times.
- Assist the Manager in ensuring all costs are controlled and managed.
- Ensure all stock deliveries are received and stored according to the Stacked procedure.
- Ensure the front counter is always clean and presentable and that the food display cabinet are always fully stocked and the drinks fridge stocked up using a rotation method
- Conduct temperature checks on food, equipment and storage areas.
- Always maintain stock rotation procedures (FIFO), ensuring all stock is labeled accordingly.

**Barista**

Coffee is an important part of the STACKED menu. It is the barista’s responsibility that each coffee or tea order is made properly and promptly.

**KPIs**
- Store achieves overall sales revenue target for calendar year
- Store achieves and maintains google rating over 4 stars
- 85% minimum achievement on Store Visit reports
- Store Mystery Shop results achievement to company benchmark
- Store maintains $18 average spend per head

**Experience/ Qualifications**

**Essential**
- Excellent knowledge of customer service and food operations.
- Confident in coffee preparation (Barista qualification desirable).
- 1-2 years’ experience working in an Front of House role in fast food/restaurant or café.
- Possess strong organisational and decision-making skills.
- A team player, with the ability to multi-task and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system.
- Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
- Ability to prioritise and work well under pressure.
- Knowledge and competency in WHS and food hygiene kitchen operations.
- Able to perform high-quality work and follow all cleaning procedures with accuracy.
