Our East Melbourne-based client is seeking an experienced bookkeeper who can leverage their expertise to bolster their team and play a pivotal role in the ongoing success of their financial planning and accounting business.
**Who will you be working with?**
Our client is a dynamic and growing financial planning and accounting business located in East Melbourne, who is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join their close-knit team. With a focus on managing business accounts and financial records, we are looking for an experienced individual to work collaboratively alongside their Managing Director and Director. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented bookkeeper to become an integral part of our client’s team.

**Duties and responsibilities include**:
- Maintain accurate accounting records and manage business accounts.
- Perform reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
- Handle payroll processing and related tasks.
- Assist in budgeting and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with our accounting team of two, supporting personal tax, accounting, and SME clients.
- Utilise software tools including Xero, MS Office, and occasionally MYOB.
- Embrace digital solutions to streamline processes.
**We are looking for someone with**:
- Extensive experience in bookkeeping and financial management
- Proficiency with accounting software, particularly Xero
- Strong knowledge of MS Office suite
- Familiarity with MYOB is a plus
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
