**About the role**:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic administration professional to join our team at Woollahra Gallery at Redleaf.

The Woollahra Gallery at Redleaf, operating since November 2021 has become the cultural heart of Woollahra, supporting creative talent to flourish. The Gallery delivers an extensive and diverse exhibition program through an annual Expression of Interest process and associated cultural programs whilst also providing an Artist in Residence program.

The position involves excellent and responsive customer service, professional administrative support and providing effective communication with the community.

It is a flexible role also supporting the administrative and project needs of the Cultural Team, including the ability to work at the Gallery to fill any staff shortages.

**Essential Criteria**
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service
- Advanced written and oral communication skills to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in updating websites and databases
- Demonstrated use of initiative and ability to work autonomously with minimum supervision
- Demonstrated organisational and coordination skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to complete a variety of tasks (multi-task) to meet objectives and deadlines and the ability to see tasks through to completion
- Demonstrated commitment to working harmoniously with a team
- Clearance to work with children as required under the Working with Children Check.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake the physical requirements of the position as outlined in Section D of the position
- Demonstrable accurate typing ability with a minimum speed of 60wpm

**Desirable Criteria**
- Experience in a Local Government or similar environment
- Class C Drivers Licence
- Previous experience working in an Art Gallery or with artists.
