**Salary**: Clerk Grade 7/8 $106,025 - $117,363 pa + 50% environmental allowance + superannuation + annual leave loading

**Your role**

Corrective Services NSW has an exciting opportunity for a passionate and driven team player with experience in building successful partnerships to join the team responsible for facilitating employment pathways for offenders.

**What you’ll do**

As part of the Work Readiness team, you will contribute to the Premiers Priority of reducing reoffending by providing pathways from employment and training undertaken in custody, aiding successful reintegration.

You’ll manage partnerships with group training organisations, employers, and employment service providers to provide post release training and employment opportunities for inmates.

You'll also work as part of a team of passionate and supportive people that are dedicated to providing the best possible pathways and support for people to overcome prejudice, preparing them into employment. You’ll be working in a range of environments such as the magnificent 6PSQ, correctional centres across the state and also with external stakeholders.

**What we’re looking for**

Someone that can work autonomously - this role has a high level of autonomy. You must have the ability to create your own plans and take action to complete tasks.

A great planner - you will need a high level of planning and prioritisation to be successful in this role. You must know how to understand the urgent and important tasks from the non-important and act accordingly.

A team player - we have a great team, and we help each other out when needed. Larger workloads come along from time to time, you must be ready and willing to help out when needed.

Someone that is dedicated and passionate about facilitating employment pathways for offenders - work changes lives.

**Essential Requirements**:
Current NSW drivers’ licence with ability and willingness to travel throughout NSW.

Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW) delivers professional correctional services and programs to reduce the risk of re-offending and enhance public safety. It serves a key function of the NSW Communities and Justice Sector by providing effective, safe and humane management of offenders both in custody and in the community CSNSW also works in partnership with other government and community agencies to ensure that offenders and their families are supported.

Corrective Services NSW Academy manages departmental training within the Delivery, Performance & Culture Branch of Corrective Services NSW, in line with Registered Training Organisation guidelines. The Academy provides high quality training and assessment to support the learning and development of operational staff within CSNSW and other jurisdictions.
