**About the position**:
Joining our busy Office of Campus Life team, the Finance Officer will be responsible for finance administration along with other tasks incorporating Central Events, Food and Beverage, Student Housing, The Sports and Aquatic Centre and Security and Safety Services.

Working closely with department heads to ensure all financial matters are processed in accordance with finance policies and procedures, this highly valued role will also be responsible for the daily finance requirements of the Office of Campus Life departments and all operational budgets.

**About the person**:

- A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
- Demonstrated capacity to understand and process financial data e.g. raising purchase orders and processing tax invoices.
- Experience using databases, finance management systems, customer relationship management and/or student management systems.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and demonstrate flexibility in dealing with people in competing demands.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills, the ability to be proactive and be self-motivated.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse groups of staff and students, Faculties/Departments and external clientele in a professional and courteous manner.
- The Ability to be discreet and maintain information in a confidential manner.

**Salary details**:

The salary for the position commences at $ $71,940.14 (full time equivalent) plus 10.5% superannuation per annum.
