**About our opportunity**

As our Technical Officer Project Delivery you'll be overseeing contract construction projects including calling, evaluating and assessing external quotes. You'll be coordinating and supervising the construction process and contractors in line with the relevant construction and workplace health and safety legislation, standards and other regulations that may impact on work carried out.

You'll also be:

- Reviewing and auditing engineering drawings and technical specifications to ensure compliance with business and project requirements
- Resolving technical issues as they arise and consult with management on possible variations
- Undertaking engineering investigations and preparing technical reports and documentation
- Preparing project reports and updates
- Providing regular technical advice to key stakeholders on construction process related matters
- Contributing to a positive team environment
- Engaging proactively with key stakeholders.

**About you**

We're looking for someone with sound experience in construction project management and applied understanding of quotation documents, design drawings, specifications, schedules, as well as relevant construction and workplace health and safety legislation, standards and other regulations.

Bring your:

- Demonstrated experience providing technical advice on construction process related matters
- Strong time management skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities
- Well-developed relationship management skills
- Well-developed communication skills and the ability negotiate and influence project outcomes
- Diploma in Engineering or equivalent experience in a similar role
- Current C class driver’s licence (required)
- Construction Induction Card competency that has been used or obtained within the past 2 years (or willing to obtain).
