**The opportunity/role**

RYCON Constructions, is an award winning builder that delivers some of Brisbane's finest architecturally designed finest homes in the high-end sector with a reputation for excellence, enjoyable and hassle free delivery.

This full-time position offers an attractive salary package, negotiable depending on your experience.

To succeed in this role, you will have experience as a Construction Manager in residential and commercial developments.

Reporting to the General Manager, your role will see you involved in various construction projects with a pedigree and commitment to craftsmanship, executing high-end construction, great relationships and meticulous attention to detail.

You will be responsible for working closely with the General Manager and Estimator to bring on and deliver jobs successfully including managing operations of busy sites, procurement, client liaison and handovers. A focus and commitment to staying close to the clients and workforce and building quality and solid relationships so the experience is enjoyable for all involved is essential.

**Duties**
- Represent the company with the management team in business development activities
- Work closely with General Manager and Estimator to bring on and deliver jobs successfully
- Work closely with the Site Foreman to manage projects to meet deadlines and budget
- Manage procurement of subcontractors and suppliers with the estimating team
- Quality and Compliance Management
- Mentor employees and manage performance
- Maintain and grow the company’s strong reputation and trusted relationships
- Ensuring company targets, standards, policies and guidelines (including OH&S) are followed
- Identify opportunities for improvement
- Communicate effectively with attention to detail
- Report weekly to the General Manager on financial performance
- Build, influence and mentor effective teams, identify emerging talent, build effective programs to retain talent
- Priortise day-to-day tasks to meet role requirements including time, budget, quality and deadlines across short, medium and long term
- Maintain a culture committed to excellence and creating an enjoyable experience for all involved

**Criteria**
- You will have 5+ years as a Construction Manager
- Construction Management degree, Licensed Builder or trade certificate
- The ability and proven track record to deliver excellent client service and outcomes
- Well developed awareness of current prices, techniques and trends
- Experience on luxury residential and commercial construction builds
- Experience managing contracts
- Ability to identify opportunity for the company
- Ability to identify and minimise risk
- Excellent time and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of computer literacy
- Exceptional understand
