This is an exciting opportunity to work at the leading provider of Arts in Health in Australia. This is your chance to positively influence a patients journey in a hospital setting. You will work with artists and other health practitioners in a collaborative environment to help shape the future of the Arts in the Health sector.

As a member of the Arts in Health team, The Program Assistant is accountable for providing culturally appropriate, equitable, high quality administrative services to the Manager, Arts in Health. This will involve preparation of correspondence, briefings, records management and assisting in the administration and development of the Arts in Health Program at Flinders Medical Centre. The Arts in Health Program at Flinders Medical Centre offers a range of culturally based arts activities that promote well-being within the hospital environment. Included in these activities is the operation and management of the Promenade Galleries which involves management and promotion of exhibitions, artist management and processing of sales. As part of this role, you will be required to manage the FMC Art collection including accession and deaccession of artworks, organising music performances, as well as marketing and promotion of events. The Arts in Health Program also has input into the management of the environmental art program and public art projects within the hospital.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A high level administrative skills and experience
- Demonstrated experience in project management, including financial processes and payments
- Experience in arts administration with an emphasis on the visual arts, performing arts, community arts or community cultural development
