**The core capability requirements for this role are**:

- Undertake staff and venue scheduling of Recruit Training Program in consultation with the Team Management, according to budgetary, industrial, and operational requirements.
- Monitor and report to the Manager on unplanned leave trends or venue scheduling issues.
- Maintain and monitor equity requirements as outlined in the relevant Industrial agreements.
- Provide advice to employees regarding relevant Industrial and Enterprise Bargaining Agreement matters as they pertain to scheduling to meet demands.
- Identify improvement opportunities using a continuous quality management approach to problem solving. This includes collaborating with colleagues, facilitating quality improvement activities and acting as a change agent in response to agreed changes.
- Develop proficiency in scheduling/programming software to ensure training sessions are conducted efficiently with appropriate staffing and venues booked.
- Process correspondence, statistics, and associated returns in accordance with approved procedures and maintain necessary records.

- Proficiency in or ability to effectively acquire proficiency in scheduling software and systems such as CELCAT scheduling program.
