**About the role**
TAFE NSW has an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with current experience in Mental Health/Counselling to join our team as an Education Support Officer. Flexibility on campus location can be given, with the Southern New South Wales areas preferred.
Your role will be responsible for a range of tasks which directly and indirectly supports the learning process for students from various backgrounds and needs. You will be a part of a dynamic team, helping students to understand their learning materials and concepts whilst creating an innovative and exciting educational environment.
**Note**: This role does not teach or prepare lessons or resources and does not deliver training nor undertake assessment.

**To be successful in the role you must have**:
- A minimum Diploma qualification within the Community Services field, with preference for Mental Health, Counselling or related areas
- Minimum of 3 years current industry experience in the Community Services, Mental Health or Counselling sectors
- Ability to understand the content of the learning materials and the processes used within Community Services
- High-level interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to be proactive and show initiative and ability to explain ideas in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to meet all the selection criteria as outlined in the position description.
