About the job

Hills Allergy and Specialists Clinic (located at Bella Vista NSW) aims to provide a high quality healthcare to our patients (children and adults).

You should be able to work independently as well as a part of a team, displaying a high level of maturity and professionalism.

**Responsibilities**
- Deliver a high level of customer service to the patients and visitors.
- Interact with patients and their families in a compassionate manner.
- Scheduling and managing appointments using GENTU medical practice software.
- Administrative support to doctors and other health professionals.
- Liaising with other medical practices and related health services.
- Display a proactive attitude while focussing on the care of the patients and support to the medical staff.
- Ensuring the privacy and confidentiality of the medical records as well as the financial information.
- Following the company’s policies and procedures at all times.
- Liaising with the Practice Manager regarding any matters related to the practice.
- Contributing equitably to maintain a clean and tidy practice at all times.

**Requirements**:

- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
- Excellent English written and verbal skills & exceptional phone manner.
- Previous medical reception experience desirable (minimum 6 months)
- Friendly and pleasant manner with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Ability to multitask by prioritising jobs
- Good data entry skills
- General IT skills and proficient with MS Word
- Computer competency (MAC advantageous) and previous experience using a medical practice software (GENTU advantageous)
- Good knowledge of MBS, DVA and health fund patient billing.
- Covid fully vaccinated (minimum 3 doses)
