Our client is a renowned and respected consultancy located in the heart of Sydney. With a team based locally as well as more broadly across Australia, they specialise in providing comprehensive asset management services. They manage a significant portfolio of assets spanning the commercial property sector, delivering quality advice to trusted clients.

**The Role**

As an Asset Consultant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the organisation's operations. You will be expected to:

- Conduct visual assessments of properties and generate professional reports.
- Manage and deliver:

- Technical Due Diligence
- Building Condition Assessment
- Building Pathology and Defect reporting
- Provision of remedial repair recommendations
- Schedules of Condition (pre-lease reporting)
- Dilapidation Reports
- Lifecycle Reporting and CAPEX forecasts
- Asset Register Development
- Tailored Technical Support

In addition, you will be required to assist with:
Business**:

- Contribute to shaping and growing the business - client engagement, marketing, and reporting of industry developments and competitors

People**:

- Participate in training initiatives for team members
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely delivery of client outcomes
- Provide constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement and overall business success

Process & Policy:

- Adhere to the organisation's Integrated Management System, following established process and procedure guidelines
- Execute approved plans aimed at achieving company goals, including policy updates and improvements

**Skills and experience**
- A qualification in building services, building surveying, construction **or** recognised certification (RICS highly regarded)
- Strong report writing capabilities
- Effective client communication and engagement
- Hands on experience working with a technical team
- Familiarity with business development
- Exposure to asset management an advantage
