Are you ready to make a significant impact on the safety and wellbeing of an internal workforce and outsourced apprentices, trainees, and job seekers? Our client provides a high level training programme, secondment scheme and employment for apprentice and trainees across Australia. With a national presence you will work in conjunction with the executive team to design and implement a transformative change programme. We are seeking a visionary and proactive individual like you to be a key part of this journey
**Role Purpose**
Our esteemed client is an Australian not-for-profit organisation committed to operational and safety excellence across their diverse business model. Your overarching goal is to create safe workplaces and support the wellbeing of their national workforce whilst supporting their client base consisting of renowned global resources companies, major contractors, subcontractors, and small family operated businesses
**Your role will see you**:
- Develop and implement strategies to foster a positive safety culture, engaging with stakeholders throughout the organisation.
- Collaborate with leaders to enhance their knowledge and commitment to safety and wellbeing practices.
- Design and execute incident and high-risk mitigation strategies, as well as efficient recovery processes.
- Establish a streamlined reporting process to equip key stakeholders with the necessary safety information for informed decision-making.
- Partner with host employers to ensure the health and safety of all staff, including apprentices and trainees.
- Ensure compliance with ISO and State legislation requirements in the Workplace Health and Safety Management System.
- Continuously improve the WHS system, policies, procedures, and documentation.
**Experience Required**:
- Bachelor’s degree in safety, business, or a relevant discipline to the role highly desirable OR background working on the tools and advancing through to WHS studies at a minimum of a Cert 4.
- Successful background in project and change management.
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing wellbeing initiatives.
- Exposure to managing psycho - social risks in the workplace.
- Ability to gather, report and analyse key matrix
