**About the role**

The Information Sharing Manager works as part of the Family Violence Policy and Practice Unit (FVPPU) within the Magistrates' Court of Victoria, which aims to deliver service excellence and strengthen the family violence processes in the MCV.

The Information Sharing Manager is responsible for the management and continuous improvement of the Family Violence Information Sharing regime, Central Information Point (CIP) and the Child Information Sharing Scheme. The Family Violence Information Sharing regime and CIP are part of the delivery on the recommendations of Royal Commission into Family Violence. The role will also be responsible for leading the implementation of the Child Information Sharing Scheme.

**About you**
- Lead the Central Information Sharing team for the Magistrates' and Children's Court of Victoria resulting in innovative and effective information sharing policies and practices
- Develop, plan and manage a range of training initiatives relevant to Information Sharing in the Magistrates' and Children's Court
- Influence Senior Court staff and manage issues that arise out of the Information Sharing Scheme's and the CIP
- Develop and distribute reference material and guidelines for the provision of support of the reforms
- Inform and liaise with internal and external stakeholders including other information sharing entities and provide authoritative advice to court staff in relation as to when information can be shared
- Establish and maintain a compliant complaints policy and process as required by the Family Violence Protection (Information Sharing) Act 2017 and the Child Wellbeing and Safety Act 2005
- Maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders including the Department of Justice & Community Safety, court staff, Supervising Magistrates for Family Violence, a range of community organisations, peer agencies, and other Victorian Government Departments to advocate for and negotiate outcomes required under the information sharing regimes
- Undertake critical analysis to identify key issues and risks and develop innovative operational solutions in the management of information sharing the Magistrates' Court of Victoria and Children's Court
- Continue to provide high levels of service to other information sharing entities
- Prepare and present complex reports and briefings to influence and inform senior stakeholders, maintaining proper documentation, recording, tracking and monitoring systems to ensure transparency and accountability
- Exercise the duties, powers and functions of a Court Registrar as required from time to time.
