Vanilla Blue, one of Sydney's leading corporate caterers seeking an experienced Event and Account Manager.

Our vision is to provide outstanding catering that excites the taste buds, connects people over a shared meal, and nourishes the individual.

**The Role**:
The Event Manager will join the Customer Service team taking day-to-day catering orders as well as assisting in the quoting, planning, running of functions. The Event Manager will ensure customers have a memorable experience with Vanilla Blue by providing great menu suggestions and customer service. Their passion, enthusiasm and experience in catering will aid the customer and the business grow.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Provide professional and friendly customer service support
- Create quotes and provide timely and accurate information about our menus
- Manage a portfolio of key accounts including regularly scheduled site visits
- Onboard new customers
- Attend onsite planning meetings
- Manage a team of event supervisors and staff
- Liaise with the kitchen and dispatch managers
- Manage customer concerns or issues
- Run all offsite events

**Key Attributes**:

- Tertiary education
- 5+ years event planning and customer service experience.
- Experience selling to customer needs
- High computer and general IT literacy
- Meeting sales goals
- Skilled at building relationships
- High empathy & motivation
- Covid Vaccination certificate
- Unrestricted rights to work in Australia required
- Driver’s license
- Working with Children Certificate is beneficial
