**About the Company**:
Established in 1972, the South Australian Film Corporation (SAFC) is the most experienced screen agency in Australia. As South Australia’s leading screen authority and investment body, the SAFC supports the development, growth and promotion of the state’s screen production sector. The SAFC focuses on supporting, positioning, and championing local screen businesses to contribute to a robust local economy and creative vibrancy through production of feature films, TV series, video games, PDV and VFX and more. Co-located with the Adelaide Studios production studios in Glenside, they are proud of the many outstanding artistic achievements and record production levels they have supported in just over 50 years.

**About the Role**:
As the Communications and Marketing Coordinator, you will support the effective management and coordination of the SAFC’s communications and marketing processes. You will manage, create and coordinate marketing collateral, social media, events and PR activities. Reporting to the Head of Communications and Marketing, you will work to promote the SAFC and its brand, as well as the wider South Australian screen sector, to both domestic and international markets.

**Duties**:

- Develop and manage marketing content, campaigns and promotional material
- Collaborate with the department head and SAFC publicist with PR including writing media releases, facilitating media requests and assisting at media calls
- Write, proofread, and edit copy for various channels
- Maintain client contact databases
- Manage creation and scheduling of content for SAFC’s social media channels
- Create content for SAFC website and e-newsletter
- Plan and manage SAFC events in consultation with management

**Skills & Experience**:

- Recent success in a Marketing/Communications role
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- High attention to detail
- Outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills
- Demonstrated experience preparing high-quality communications content for a wide range of target audiences and formats
- A demonstrated ability to create compelling original graphic, written and video content for social media and other digital marketing platforms, and generate analytics reports
- Experience in planning and running events, both in-person and online (webinars).
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Stakeholder relationship management skills
- Experience in journalism or a public relations role involving writing and editing stories and/or media releases would be beneficial
- Knowledge of the screen production industry and specifically the South Australian sector would be beneficial
