Accounts Assistant/administrator

**About**:
Art Carpentry has 10 years industry experience, we are driven to deliver and supply professional building and carpentry services across Sydney and New South Wales.

**The Opportunity**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing, and bank reconciliations
- Assist with month-end financial reporting
- Process and monitor daily transactions, including supplier and subcontractor payments, payroll, etc
- Reconcile daily sales and cash receipts against bank statements
- Communicate with suppliers to resolve any billing or payment issues
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial spreadsheets and reports
- Assist with tax compliance, including GST and FBT
- Other tasks as assigned by the Director

**About you**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
- Experience in accounting or business admin preferrable, but not essential
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Xero will be highly regarded
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

**Salary**: $28.00 - $37.00 per hour
