**About the Opportunity**
We have an opportunity for an impactful individual with a passion for helping students gain practical experience aligned with reaching their career goals. This role seeks placement opportunities in WA businesses that can further develop university student’s skills and provide businesses with the internship support they need. These actions are driven by an overall goal of delivering outstanding workforce results for our clients and improve graduate outcomes for university students. As part of the role, the Work Integrated Learning Adviser will use recruitment activities to match talented students with WA businesses.

This role aims to provide a holistic and positive experience for employers, students and the universities who engage in the program. Success in this role reflects the ability to develop strong relationships in the business community and increase the number and variety of WIL placements offered to students.

Initially, this role will be work predominantly with Science and Engineering students, with the possibility of expansion to other faculties in the future. While knowledge of science and engineering disciplines is helpful, more important is your ability to connect with industry and students alike.

This role is a Part-time, Maximum Term Contract role ending 31 December 2024.

**About you**
To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Demonstrated understanding of Work Integrated Learning and vocational placements
- Practical knowledge of marketing and promotional methods to engage audiences that include employers and students
- Demonstrated knowledge of current recruitment practices, WA industries and workforce skills needs
- Excellent communication, including ability to write effectively, and liaison skills to work with a broad range of stakeholders
- Strong organisation skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- The ability to self motivate and work autonomously within a small on-site (metro) client team
- Knowledge of engineering and/or science sector (desired)
- Bachelor/tertiary degree in a relevant discipline
- A current WA driver's licence
- National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check
