**Role Description/Criteria**
Applications are sought for the position of Campus Sports Coordinator commencing in January 2024.
**OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE**
Education at Padua College involves the all-round development of the student; therefore the College provides an extensive co-curricular program and encourages both staff and students to be involved and participate in the life of the College. The College’s sporting program and activities provide students with opportunities to further develop perseverance, social, team building and leadership skills and achieve success.
The Campus Sports Coordinator will provide proactive, high-quality leadership and management of all sporting programs and activities to facilitate the achievement of the College’s strategic educational plans. The Campus Sports Coordinator works closely with the SIS Leader and Campus Administration Team to ensure facilitation and coordination of the sporting program, activities, and events for the students on the Campus. She/He is responsible to the Principal through the Heads of Campus.
**MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY**
The responsibilities of the Campus Sports Coordinator include but are not limited to:
i. Organising and coordinating the inter-school and cross campus sporting involvement of students on the Campus;
ii. facilitating the administration and management of the sporting program to ensure that all sporting activities and events operate effectively and efficiently for the students on and off the Campus; and
iii. performing other day-to-day duties and implementing decisions as requested by the Principal or the College Improvement Team.
