**Job Description**:
This position is rare in the procurement world as the division is a significant profit centre for the global business. This leadership position is based in beautifully appointed and centrally located Sydney CBD corporate offices. You will be responsible for the strategic leadership and direction of the Procurement team (10) in the Pacific region with the objective of delivering best service and value to internal and external end users from a diverse supply chain of suppliers.

The role and your responsibilities

Support, lead and develop the Pacific Procurement team to be their very best everyday
Oversee and ensure all supplier negotiations and agreements entered into optimize for quality, service and pricing
Lead Category Managers to drive initiatives improving supplier awareness & compliance across the network
Provide innovative procurement solutions in line with the various operating and business models of the business
Develop and implement the strategic procurement roadmap for the Pacific region
Develop and influence the procurement offering for hotels within the network
Identify new procurement categories and opportunities for revenue generation
Lead development of local contracts and contribute to international supplier contract development
Develop digital solutions locally in agreement and alignment with the global procurement goals & vision
Review and monitor critical contracts and provide detailed performance reports for the Pacific

**Qualifications**:
Minimum 10 years experience in Procurement for a complex, multi-faceted business
Minimum 5 years in a leadership position with direct ownership of a P&L
Prior experience in a multi-national business advantageous
Qualification in Finance, Business or Procurement (or related)
