**About the Marketing Manager position**

Based out of BYD Australia’s Macquarie Park office, the Marketing Manager will work collaboratively with BYD Global Headquarters and BYD Australia to maximize commercial growth and marketing impact on the BYD business.

The Marketing Manager will facilitate the execution of direct marketing, general marketing campaigns, and promotional activities to create and increase lead generation and achieve commercial and sales targets.

The Marketing Manager will have the responsibility of planning, executing, and optimizing multiplatform campaigns in building brand awareness and stakeholder engagement with BYD’s distributors, agencies, partners, and brand ambassadors.
- Significant demonstrated experience in a Marketing and Social Media position within automotive, internet, or tech industries
- Solid demonstrated experience in Brand Marketing, Digital Marketing, Content Marketing, Social Media Marketing, and Events Marketing
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- A collaborative ethos and active team player contributor with the ability to effectively interact and build strong relationships
- Comprehensive understanding of marketing approaches across digital media and highly proficient in social media platforms
- Extensive contacts with local media, print/TV, and automotive media
- Understand key performance metrics and tracking tools for market research, forecasts, competitor analysis, campaign results, and consumer trends and translate performance results into actionable insights
- Attention to detail, time management, professional presentation, and work ethic.
