The position

You will be the first point of contact for parents, students, visitors and contractors at our Junior campuse.
The Receptionist communicates in a warm and welcoming manner and conveys a high level of competence
and efficiency in their dealings with our clients, the public, staff and the students.

You will also provide support to the Junior School Directors in a variety of administrative tasks.

The role requires excellent interpersonal skills to be able to interact effectively at all levels of the School and
with a wide range of people.

The position also provides support to the Business Office through the provision of financial services and to
the Junior School staff through the provision of administrative assistance.

Customer Service and Administration:

- be the first point of contact for all visitors to the School, providing a welcome response to parents,

students and visitors and ensuring visitors sign in the visitors’ book and directing and assisting as
required
- manage enquiries from parents, staff and students
- inform staff of absentees (as notified by parents) and follow-up absentees (not notified by parents)
- access and use database for student details
- preparing documents and maintaining efficient document and file management
- undertaking tasks for the teaching staff which may include issuing of stationery or textbook packs
- distributing incoming mail including all deliveries to the school
- ordering of stationery for all Junior School staff and coordinating the maintenance of the photocopy

machines
- administer First Aid and medication, complete relevant paperwork and filing
- update rosters and relevant documents as required
- general office support including assisting staff with prod
