About the role
The Nursing and Midwifery Workforce Unit Team Leader role provides supervision for the Nursing and Midwifery Allocations Clerks and Casual Clerks at Eastern Health. The team leader will be responsible for prioritising tasks and managing workflows within the Nursing and Midwifery Workforce Unit. The role also supports strategic initiatives within the unit and will be involved in a variety of projects supporting workforce sustainability.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our friendly team on a permanent part time basis. Based at Wantirna Health, the Eastern Health Nursing & Midwifery Workforce Allocations team are responsible for the facilitation of replacement nursing and midwifery workforce across all Eastern Health sites and departments, and operates between 6.00am - 10.30pm, 365 days a year.
About you
**To be successful in this role you will possess**:
Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Supervision and delegation within a team environment and the ability to effectively contribute to the team’s work plan
Working effectively under broad direction whilst exercising autonomy
Highly developed time management, organisational skills and the ability to meet timelines
Coordination of all processes in relation to replacement workforce bookings including data entry and invoice processing and payment as required
Exceptional customer service skills with a commitment to effectively meet needs in a helpful and professional manner
Proficiency with digital technology and database entry
The ability to work as part of a diverse team
