**About the Position**
We have an exciting opportunity for an HR Business Partner to join our Melbourne office on a 12-month FTC (parental leave contract).
Our HR team provides comprehensive HR support to the Firm and works closely with our leaders and practice groups in delivering on our people strategy to attract and retain the best talent.
The HR Business Partner will act in a business partnering capacity supporting defined practice groups across the HR lifecycle. Partnering with leaders, you will develop trusting and credible relationships by providing effective day to day advice on HR related matters. You will coach and guide leaders through our cyclical processes and lead the salary, talent, promotion and performance review cycles for your designated teams. You will also get involved in recruitment, L&D initiatives, manage employee relations issues and support our graduate program.
As part of the wider HR team, you will be involved in the design and delivery of a range of HR projects and initiatives and be encouraged to identify opportunities to continually improve the HR offering for the Firm. You will have a great deal of autonomy to support your teams but have the guidance from the HR Manager and your peers. We work closely as a team, and you can be assured that we collaborate continually to ensure the success of the Firm and each other.
**About You**
We're looking for a HR superstar who is in a similar role and is looking to take on more ownership and responsibility. You will have ideally 3 years' experience in partnering and coaching your stakeholders on HR matters and will possess outstanding communication skills and the ability to build trusting, credible and reliable relationships with your clients. We seek someone who is not afraid to challenge the status quo and be able to think outside the square.
