**Who are we?**

The Women's Health Road practice offers a patient centric model of healthcare, focusing on a multidisciplinary medical service provided to women and families in Australia. We are pursuing a new-age of patient care based on patient ownership of data through secure technology platforms. Every data point created or stored on our patients is digitally accessible to them, including all test/pathology/imaging results and consultation notes. The purpose of this model is to ensure that our footprint in their healthcare journey facilitates ongoing collaborative care with all other health care providers, simplifying the patient experience.

Our mission is to help women navigate the often complex healthcare system and ensure that the highest quality of investigative and diagnostic care is accessible and provided to all.

**What is the role?**

As a member of the WHR team, you will be welcomed into an incredibly dynamic and fast paced work environment that prides itself on staff and patient wellbeing. The secretary role is crucial to ensuring the management of administrative duties and supporting the delivery of quality clinical care by the practitioners. The position will be a required **5 days per week, Monday to Friday**.

This role requires a high level of work flexibility, energy, attention to detail, independent motivation, IT skills and quick problem-solving skills.

**Your tasks and responsibilities**:

- Adherence to practice procedures and policies
- Strong autonomous work ethic and ability
- Deliver exceptional patient experience, including through our Patient Portal software
- Manage scheduling and billing processes
- Manage medical records, routing of documents to clinical staff for review and organization of documents in electronic medical record platform
- General administrative and office management duties to ensure smooth work flow processes

**Your prior knowledge and qualifications**:

- Previous administrative experience preferred, ideally in the medical industry (preferred but not essential)
- IT proficient in all common computing programs and platforms (essential)
- Understanding of MediRecords practice software (preferred but **not **essential)
- Working knowledge of medical consultation billing, Medicare Benefits Scheme and private health insurance (preferred but not essential)

**Salary**: $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Practice Assistant: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Complete Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
