Content Creator - Marketing
AD Media is a niche Sydney-based digital marketing agency and video production company working in the not for profit and financial sectors.
We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic copywriter with a love for the written word, comfortable with their own skill set and working with a range of tools and their own intelligence.
The Role:
Working with the Director, this is a hands-on role that will ensure the strategy and execution of content is cohesive across all channels, from social media, EDM, blogs and website landing pages.
The Content Creator (CC) will have excellent communication skills, the confidence to bring new ideas to the table, a love for writing across multiple online platforms, a solid understanding of analytics to inform digital marketing campaigns, and a passion for helping raise awareness of our clients. The role requires drive and ambition to help create powerful copywriting content.
Initially this is a Part-time position with the possibility to go full time. The opportunity to collaborate and work closely with a small and dynamic team supporting the growth and development of our clients and us.
**Responsibilities**:
- Create appropriate content across a range of channels including SEO optimised blogs, EDM’s, and website copy
- Support and work with the team to develop and execute digital marketing strategies for clients
- Identify appropriate platforms to share content on
- Edit and proof read briefs and other ad hoc writing
- Identify trending topics and themes for campaigns and ad hoc copywriting
- Writing SEO optimised blogs, EDM’s, meta descriptions and a working understanding of software tools such as SEM Rush, Jasper, Surfer SEO, Chat GPT, Google Analytics, CRM’s (MailChimp, Hub Spot etc
- Supporting clients where required and as directed
- Research topics where appropriate to create original content
- An understanding of writing for Google Ads a bonus - not required to manage Google Ads accounts
- Uploading blogs and images to websites
- Writing reports where required and commenting on social media, google analytic metrics in those reports
- Working with the team to adjust the strategy as needed to achieve campaign goals
- Collaborate with the Director to identify and pursue PR and Comms opportunities to promote AD Media
- Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and best practices
**Requirements**:
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, platforms, SEO tools, Google Keywords, Google Trends and best practices
- Ability to brief third parties
- Excellent copywriting and research skills
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside of the box
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Experience with content creation and editing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva Pro
- An interest in video production and creating of video content a bonus but not essential
Key Selection Criteria:
- Proven track record of building an organisation/brands through various online channels
- Strong knowledge and experience in content creation inclusive of writing, proof reading and editing.
- A creative mindset and the ability to generate fresh ideas for content, campaigns, and engagement strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency in analytics tools and platforms.
- An understanding of marketing best practices
- Passion for not for profit, and a desire to make a positive impact in the community
Desirable Selection Criteria:
- A tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, business, video production
- Photography skills for content capture
- Experience and/or knowledge in the NFP sector
- 3+ years copywriting experience
How to Apply:

**Salary**: $59,216.74 - $97,542.39 per year
