We are currently seeking an **HR Manager** to join our team at our Cranbourne office. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a significant difference in people's lives.

**Job Purpose**:
Reporting to Senior Management, the HR Manager will oversee the sourcing and onboarding of talent, managing the recruitment process for both direct care workers and corporate staff.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Act as the primary contact for HR-related requests, providing advice on employment conditions and employee relations.
- Manage recruitment, performance reviews, and support succession planning.
- Oversee external job advertisements, screening, interviewing, and reference checking.
- Manage the employee database, including contracts, performance management, and staff changes.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Arrange and coordinate training sessions and workshops for staff to ensure continuous professional development.
- Coach and counsel management on key talent matters, including performance management and development, feedback, employee wellbeing and engagement, and disciplinary actions.
- Develop and adjust HR policies in response to legislative changes and organizational needs.
- Manage and coordinate all work safety and health policies, and handle all work-related claims and workers' compensation processes.
- Ensure that all employment policies comply with current laws and regulations and that Aussie Life Care Australia is compliant with safety and legal practices, procedures, and record-keeping.
- Maintain proactive communication with staff and clients.

**Key Attributes and Skills**:

- Knowledge of standards for direct care workers in the disability sector.
- Strong interviewing and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and demonstrate a high level of integrity and dependability.
- Proficiency in digital tools and strategic problem-solving.
- Capability to manage stress and work under pressure.

**Education and Qualifications**:

- Relevant degree in HR, Recruitment, or Talent Management.
- Required clearances for working in Disability and Aged Care sectors.
- Current National Police Clearance and the right to work in Australia.

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Salary**: $70,000 per year plus superannuation
