**About the role**
As Library Services Officer you will be part of the Library Branch Services team and responsible for supporting day-to-day library operations and providing effective customer service to a diverse audience. You will join our dedicated team to create our vision: _Creating connections, improving lives, every moment matters._
We have opportunities in all of our branches and your main focus will be providing support in the operations and functions of the library service delivering high standard library services to the community.
Some of your key accountabilities will include:
- Provide effective point of need customer services
- Ensure exemplary and positive customer experience
- Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support
- Assist customers with varying queries across a range of library resources

**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Minimum education Year 12 or equivalent
- Experience in point of need customer service
- The ability to be resilient, agile and a supportive team member, working at different locations and working outside the normal span of working hours
- A certificate in a relevant discipline is desirable
- The ability to undertake a range of manual handling tasks
- Working with Children Blue card (if interested in working in the Children’s Library)
- Belief in our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency, and leadership
A pre employment medical (including drug and alcohol testing) is required for these positions.
