**The Organization**:
A prominent manufacturer specializing in pumps for de-watering in underground and open pit mines, my client provides comprehensive solutions encompassing system design, supply, maintenance, repairs, on-site training, and service. They are currently looking for a mechanically inclined Sales professional to join their successful sales team in Melbourne.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure the successful execution of sales plans.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential opportunities in the dewatering pumps sector in the West Australian Goldfields and Pilbara region.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts to potential clients.
- Negotiate terms and conditions to secure profitable agreements.
- Recognizing client needs and offering technical solutions related to their installed equipment to enhance production and efficiency, addressing any operational challenges.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Trade Qualified (Fitter/Mechanic)
- Sales Experience in related field.
- Strong technical knowledge of dewatering pumps and related equipment.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel as needed.
