Central Coast Local Health District is seeking an experienced Sterilisation Technician on a permanent part time basis.

**About You**
- You have a qualification in Sterilisation Technology
- You have knowledge of governing standards and guidelines
- You can provide legible, accurate, relevant, concise and complete communication and data records.

**What you'll be doing**
- The purpose of the position is to undertake the day to day operational activities in the Sterilising Services Department (SSD), ensuring that the unit provides a reprocessing service in accordance with statutory requirements and standards. As well as routine reprocessing, the role provides leadership and guidance to Grade 1 technicians and liaises with customers regarding reprocessing.
- Contribute to the total health care needs and expectations of clients, clinicians, staff and the community by providing and maintaining a high standard within the Sterilising Services Department;
- Co-operate with other staff members to ensure that duty requirements and standards are being met and maintained;
- Provide a comprehensive hand over of work area responsibility to other staff as required;
- Maintain self-education and professional development, keeping informed of current standards.
