**About the Role**:
The Country Housing team within the People and Culture division is responsible for the delivery of an end-to-end service to ensure teachers and leaders relocating to our country schools are supported to locate appropriate quality accommodation and be connected to housing incentives and community services in country locations.

The Country Housing team is looking for several Country Housing Officers to join the team. The Country Housing Officer will contribute to the delivery of the Country Education Strategy 2021-2028 by supporting department employees with their relocation to work in country locations.

The role will be the primary point of liaison between internal and external stakeholders in support of relocations activities to ensuring a positive relocation experience. This includes liaising with Department of Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) Housing officers regarding Government Employee Housing and arranging short term accommodation where required and supporting furniture moves.

**Special Conditions**:
Please note that department employees working in high-risk environments are required to maintain up-to-date vaccination against COVID-19, with a TGA Approved Vaccine. Vaccination status must be disclosed and provided for sighting on request.

The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

**Remuneration**:
ASO5: $84,522 - $94,003
