**About the Opportunity**

A newly created ongoing position within the Governance, Risk and Assurance Services team of the People of Performance branch is your opportunity to join a team focussed on achieving good governance for DTF.
The role has been developed to support the DTF Risk Management Framework, Internal Audit Plans, SA Protective Security Framework, and other governance-based functions.

**We are looking for someone who will**:

- Support the DTF Governance Framework through managing the corporate-based legislative and administrative responsibilities and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide a highly organised service and be able to provide analysis of trends using a risk-based approach and develop dashboard reporting for branches, including agency reporting.
- Research and critically analyse information while also exercising sound judgement to develop and implement solutions regarding complex matters.
- Undertake the role of Document Controller for DTF corporate policy documents including supporting the Policy Framework by ensuring a controlled and compliant policy document environment.
- Manage various team systems by taking on the role of administrator as applicable and ensuring ‘best practice’ for the maintenance and use of these systems, and compliance with record-keeping practices.
- Continuously contribute to the development and review of team policy documents.

**You will possess the skills and knowledge to**:

- Research and critically analyse information to develop and implement solutions regarding complex matters.
- Achieve outcomes aligned with strategic intent and based on the principles of service delivery excellence, collegiate support, and high performance.
- Interpret legislative requirements for adherence and compliance purposes, including the provision of high-level expert advice to decision makers.
- Work within and develop systems and platforms to support business functions.

**Desirable Expertise**:

- Tertiary qualification in a related field, including legal, finance or business administration.
- Direct operational experience in risk management, audit, or compliance related functions.

**Special Conditions**:

- Some out of hours work may be required.
- You will be required to participate in the Departmental Performance Management Program.
- You may be required to be assigned to other positions at the same remuneration level across the department.

**Remuneration**:
Administrative Services Officer, Level 5 (ASO5 $83,273 - $92,614 p.a.)
