**The Role**
The Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR) is seeking a highly effective, pro active stakeholder specialist to join our Parliamentary Services team as an APS5 Cabinet Administrator. In this role, you will manage the department’s Cabinet business, coordinate feedback on Cabinet submissions, provide support on Cabinet processes and the CabNet+ system and provide administrative assistance across the Parliamentary Services team. You will work with key stakeholders and have opportunities for cross-skilling within the Parliamentary Services team.

Responsibilities of the APS Level 5 may include:

- Coordinating department input and auditing Cabinet documents as required.
- Providing timely process advice and support to departmental officers.
- Monitoring the progress of Cabinet business and preparing daily reporting.
- Preparation of briefing folders.
- Tracking, auditing and destruction of department Cabinet documents.

**Eligibility**
Please note, under section 22(8) of the Public Service Act 1999, employees must be Australian citizens to be employed in the APS unless the Agency delegate has agreed, in writing.

This selection process may be used to establish a merit pool. The pool might be accessed to fill ongoing and non-ongoing vacancies for similar roles in the Department over the next 18 months.

**Citizenship** - to be eligible for employment with the Department, you must be an Australian Citizen or, in limited circumstances, in the process of obtaining it.
