**About the role**

As the Planning Strategy & Insights Officer, you will provide support for the development of park planning and strategy for the parks and reserves system at the state-wide, landscape and park level within Parks Victoria.

Under the direction of the Senior Coordinator Planning Strategy & Insights, you will be an integral member of the Planning Strategy & Insights team. Your role will assist the team to develop and provide frameworks and insights for how people experience the parks estate, as well as influence contemporary and evolving approaches to how Parks Victoria partners with Traditional Owners for applied planning and policy development.

**We're looking for someone with**:

- Experience in developing relationships and partnerships with stakeholders in government and non-government organisations.
- An understanding in public land planning and management.
- Experience in the development of and providing technical analysis and advice on strategies.
- An understanding of how Traditional Owner rights are applied to public sector activities is desirable.
- An understanding of the interpretation and implementation of legislation, regulations, policies and practices preferably within a government organisation.
