It is an exciting time for Tennis in Australia. Through our Game On Strategy, we have ambitious plans to continue to grow the game from grassroots through to high performance. Our Participation team is transforming how we deliver tennis, with the aim of more people playing more often, regardless of how, where or what format they play. To help us achieve our plans we are now looking for a Coach Member & Program Services Lead to join us on a full-time basis.

About the role

Reporting to the Director of Coaching, in this role you will be responsible for managing the strategy and direction for how Tennis supports and services coaches through a world-class Coach Membership Program. Managing a dedicated team of customer service focused support staff, this role will focus on driving exceptional customer service standards, and raise the bar for membership benefits, offerings, and support services:

- Work closely with external stakeholders, including members, clubs, and parents/consumers, to gather feedback on membership offering and promotion.
- Collaborate with the coach team to maximise opportunities at summer of tennis events to provide experiences for coaches.
- Manage the budget, including all internal/external financial processes such as the processing of coach memberships and registrations.
- Drive business support initiatives in line with the Game On Participation Strategy for coaches.
- Build and negotiate relationships with key organisations and their products/services to generate attractive benefits for members.
- Develop and implement Loyalty, Reward and Recognition programs.
- Deliver outstanding member experiences at the Australian Open and Summer of Tennis Events.

About you

What you will bring to the role:

- Tertiary qualification in sport management, business, marketing, events, or equivalent (essential)
- Knowledge of tennis industry within Australia
- High level of marketing and communications skills
- Ability to effectively engage and influence key stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in core Membership / Member Services e.g Learning, Training, Events & Communications
- Alignment with the Tennis values of Excellence, Humility, Collaboration and Imagination
- You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
