**ROLE**
As Major Supporter Manager, you will use your proven relationship fundraising experience to research, develop and manage a major gifts portfolio to ensure this incredible organisation achieves its goals.
Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy and working closely with internal and external stakeholders, this is an incredible opportunity to further develop and drive the organisation’s major gifts fundraising strategy and make a real impact on its mission. You get to play a vital role in increasing major giving as a serious income stream, to grow relationships with major donors and prospective major donors, including trusts and foundations, and build customised stewardship journeys and secure long-term financial support for the cause.
The role is busy and varied and will suit an experienced Major Gifts professional with demonstrated experience in delivering proactive major gifts programs to meet targets and execute superior stakeholder and budget management skills.
This is a unique opportunity to join a highly experienced and passionate team of professionals and working on mission-imperative campaigns and projects
**ABOUT YOU**
- Proven exceptional ability in building and maintaining supporter relationships
- Demonstrated ability to develop successful strategies for major supporter acquisition, retention, and growth
- Demonstrated experience in soliciting gifts and/or comparable experience in commercial sector
- Experience in building, managing, and forecasting a pipeline of income
- Experience in developing cases for support and other products to increase support
- Collaborative team player
- Sound judgment and discretion
- Exceptional excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability in report writing for internal and external stakeholders
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality in dealing with sensitive data
- Demonstrated time management and organisational skills
- Knowledge of FIA Code of Conduct/Standards of Fundraising preferred but not essential
