Your broad professional expertise, effective problem-solving, relationship management, and collaboration skills are essential to success in this position.

**Primary purpose of the position**

Develop and deliver a comprehensive range of operational and strategic human resources and development services in a professional and collaborative manner that supports the achievement of the Commission’s strategic and operational objectives.

Provide leadership to the Human Resources (HR) Advisor team.

**Eligibility**
- an Australian citizen; or
- a permanent Australian resident.

**Selection criteria.**

The following selection criteria form a specific part of the selection process.
- Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline and/or extensive professional experience at a senior level.
- Experience in team leadership, including planning, motivating, and developing team members.
- Demonstrated ability to take a leading role in the full range of professional Human Resources functions and services, including use of an HRIS/HCMS.
- Demonstrated ability to independently prioritise and plan workloads with competing deadlines
- Well-developed skills in research, analysis, and demonstrated capability to identify issues and insight and to develop and implement change and improvement strategies.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication, influencing, relationship management, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of payroll obligations is essential - supervision or conduct of payroll processes is beneficial.
- Knowledge of NSW public sector conditions of employment and relevant legislation would be well regarded.

**Remuneration**

Total remuneration package valued up to $169,014 pa (Salary $135,754 - $150,930 pa), including employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
