The Agency for Clinical Innovation (ACI) leads innovation in clinical care across NSW. We do this by bringing clinicians, patients and healthcare managers together to design and implement new ways to deliver healthcare.

**What you will be doing**

The Project Officer, Maternity and Neonatal Network will promote, develop, implement and monitor strategic change management programs and initiatives that will improve the level and quality of Maternity and Neonatal health service delivery in Local Health Districts (LHDs) / Specialty Health Networks (SHNs) across NSW. This role will also provide high level advice and executive support functions to senior committees. In particular, this role will be responsible for supporting the activities and priorities of the Maternity and Neonatal Network.

The role will work collaboratively with ACI Networks, LHD/SHN managers, Ministry of Health, clinicians and other key stakeholders to facilitate the contribution of key internal and external stakeholders in the innovation of new programs, frameworks, clinical guidance and models of Maternity and Neonatal care across the state.

**Selection Criteria / Questions**
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or demonstrated relevant health industry experience.
- High level skills in conceptual and systems-thinking with a demonstrated ability to provide expert advice which is strategic and adds value to a project at a state wide level and prioritises a range of stakeholder viewpoints.
- Sound knowledge of the health system in NSW and the national context and broad knowledge and understanding of policy issues related to Maternity and Neonatal health services.
- Experience leading projects that use a consultative approach to address the needs of Aboriginal people, including experience engaging and working with Aboriginal families and communities.

This position is a permanent position and **requires full working rights in Australia **(e.g. Australian citizenship/ permanent resident). **COVID-19 Vaccination Compliancy**

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). Additionally, Category A workers are required to receive a booster dose three months after completing the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate (IM011 immunisation medical exemption form) certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
