**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Managing Deakin’s short course portfolio and curriculum quality assurance requirements by developing documentation, reporting, providing guidance, and monitoring across the approval, set up, development and delivery processes.
- Collaborating with other teams and departments to ensure accuracy and compliance of short course information including review, monitoring and changes to short courses, stack-ability of short courses into Deakin degrees and relevant process or practices.
- Managing professional body accreditations and re-accreditation process and requirements for short courses.
- Providing capability uplift including training and support to faculty and staff on short course policy, quality assurance, standards and systems including secretariat support for relevant committees.
- Analysing data to identify areas for improvement in curriculum outcomes and effectiveness, including development of reports to inform strategic decision-making.
- Managing iteration of curriculum information across the entire short course learner experience, from awareness to post-completion engagement.
- Developing new resources to support self-service curriculum design, development and delivery of short courses which align with Deakin’s strategic short course portfolio.
- Managing projects related to the curriculum of short courses including developing project plans, tracking progress, and providing advice and regular updates to stakeholders, using the most appropriate examples and influencing technique for a given situation.

**To be successful, you’ll have**:

- Qualifications and experience_
- A Degree with at least 4 years subsequent relevant experience; or

Extensive experience and management expertise in curriculum or administrative fields; or

An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/ or education/ training
- Demonstrated ability and experience in managing quality assurance of academic course governance practices and process in an educational environment, including effective communication when working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders and ability to audit information, identify trends and make recommendations to improve management of microcredential policy, quality assurance and standards.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills including ability to negotiate, motivate, influence and build relationships with a range of diverse internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
- Experience in developing innovative solutions and a commitment to continuous improvement, openness to new ideas and creative approaches to problem solving with established timelines.
- Experience in higher education, such as working in an academic institution or supporting short course programs (preferred).
