**The Opportunity**

Come and discover the opportunity to join our IT function as the Infrastructure and Network Stream Program Manager for a major IT modernization Program called Resilience. Technology at BlueScope have embarked on an exciting enterprise technology transformation, supporting our business and customers now and for the future.

The Stream Program Manager is responsible for the IT Resilience Program Infrastructure and Network portfolio of programs and projects by leading the development of the overall approach for the stream. In this critical role you will be accountable for the scope definition, alignment and execution for the IT Resilience stream plan. You will work with the overall Program Manager and Manufacturing Systems Stream Program Manager to ensure optimum resource allocation and project dependency mapping across the Portfolio of projects and initiatives

This role can be based at Mount Waverley VIC, Mascot NSW or Wollongong NSW.

**What Will You Do?**

You will help us to deliver efficient and effective IT Network and Infrastructure Projects across the program by:

- Being accountable for the scope definition and alignment of initiatives to the scope of the Resiliency Plan
- Effectively managing the projects within the Network and Infrastructure Stream at a summary level for Steer Co and Board Reporting
- Delivering all projects to baseline plan timings and planned cost estimates within the stream
- Facilitating within the stream, cross-project collaboration, dependency management, communications and organisation change management, stakeholder management, the day-to-day management of the stream activities, and stream reporting
- Leading the development of the stream for the program, its major time frames and the definition of its major deliverables to address and meet the desired goals and outcomes of the overarching program.
- Partnering with the IT Resilience Program Manager and executive sponsor to communicate program goals, objectives, outcomes and achievements.
- Establishing and ensuring appropriate governance functions for the program stream in accordance with Program Manager and agreed Program Execution Plan as well as ASP Governance bodies

**More About You**

With your excellent leadership skills, strong business acumen and history of delivering complex major IT Infrastructure and Network programs, you will also have:

- Substantial leadership responsibilities across major projects and programs, preferably in complex Infrastructure and Network environments
- The ability to develop and communicate the program objectives, inspire and motivate staff, and maintain alignment with the business strategy
- A high degree of political sensitivity, astuteness and the ability to use the informal power structure of the organization to achieve program success and overcome obstacles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain and “sell” the program goals and objectives to the business, as well as technical leadership
- Influencing and negotiation experience and skills in an environment with high competition for resources
- Excellent analytical, strategic planning and execution skills.
- Experience of working within a multi-vendor, outsourced service provider environment
- A tertiary qualification in IT or related discipline
- Industry project certification i.e. PRINCE 2, PMBOK
