**About the company**

This NSW Government agency is a major service provider who strives to deliver a more consistent and efficient experience within government. This government agency uses data and behavioural insights to drive improvements with government and providing services to NSW. We are looking for someone to start ASAP for a 12-month contract paying up to $853 p/d + Super. This role is located in Sydney CBD and offers flexible working from home arrangements.

**About the Role**

Key responsibilities:

- Contribute to and implement the communication strategy and ensure the approach adopted is appropriate for the target audiences.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to define business communication needs and objectives, crafting appropriate communication approaches and tactics to achieve portfolio goals.
- Develop and deliver communication materials, including brochures, posters, letters, website and intranet content, newsletters, FAQs, presentations, briefs and key messages.
- Develop and deliver messaging using a variety of tools and channels ensuring it reaches its target audience.
- Identify and address potential communication issues, and opportunities, which may have an impact on business stakeholders, implementing solutions to achieve the best outcome.
- Provide regular progress updates to manager and project stream lead, and work with the project group to prioritise tasks and ensure timely delivery.

**About You**
- Tertiary level qualifications (at degree level) in communications, business or a related discipline, or equivalent knowledge and skills acquired through practical experience
- 5+ years' experience developing and delivering communications strategies
- Strong change communications experience
- Strong project management experience
- Pre-employment checks
