Parks Victoria are looking for a Project Officer for the coordination and delivery of the new St Kilda and Altona Piers
- Assist with the implementation and delivery of St Kilda and Altona Piers activities, including the development of operational plans.
- Enjoy the healthy mix of working from the office and site visits. You will work with with various stakeholders in the delivery of both projects offering variety in day to day tasks.
- Gain experience delivering projects with multiple interested stakeholders.

**About the role**

The District Project Officer is responsible for the operational coordination and delivery of St Kilda and Altona Piers. The position closely supports the Area Chief Ranger with the coordination and operationalisation of the St Kilda Pier and Altona Pier. Day to day tasks will vary, with regular site visits a requirement of the role.

The Project Officer role assists in works that are to be delivered as part of a defined project with tied specific funding to that project. As the project is time bound and requires a clear focus on delivery timeframes and successful project management, the Project Officer is required to perform a variety of tasks and work in all phases of a project, from the beginning stages to completion under direction. The Project Officer reports directly to the Ranger Team Leader depending on the specific project complexity/focus and requirements

**We're looking for someone with**
- Demonstrated experience in supporting delivery in complex projects with a range of diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in supporting and administering marine operational projects, experience in operational roles in the maritime area is desirable
- The Project Officer must have a sound understanding of project management and of the goals of the work and prioritise the work.
