Accounts Officer

Our client is a long standing Australian company who partners with the construction industry to custom design and manufacture a range of doors and windows. With their state-of-the-art facilities and access to industry leading resources, they have been able to cement themselves as one of the leading companies in this space.
They are looking to add a motivated and experienced bookkeeper to their finance team based in their Bankstown offices to manage a range of AR, AP, Payroll, and various accounts functions.
**Responsibilities**:
- Full-function management of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Manage weekly pay cycles across all entities
- Monthly reconciliation of bank accounts, GST, and payroll accounts for accuracy.
- Provide administrative support to the wider accounts team
- Monitor and categorize expenses, ensuring proper allocation and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
- Process invoices, track payments, and follow up on outstanding invoices.
**Skills and experience**:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organisation skills
