The Opportunity

Our client is a newly emerging air charter business with luxury offices at Bankstown Airport. On their behalf we are seeking a talented Office Allrounder with some background in marketing (marketing graduates with some office experience are welcome to apply) to assist the CEO with reception, admin and marketing tasks.  This is a rare opportunity to work with a delightful, professional core team of business-savvy individuals in the exciting world of aviation, in a business whose motto is Exceed All Expectations.  There are real opportunities for advancement for the right person.

The Role

This is a varied and interesting role that will evolve and grow with the business.  You will be dealing with high net worth individuals and other consumers of luxury jet charter services.  Thus an appropriate level of professional deportment is expected.  Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):-

  • Act as primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
  • Handle all phone enquiries in a prompt, warm and professional manner
  • Receive, monitor and respond as appropriate to digital/hard copy correspondence
  • Meet and greet clients - you will essentially be the “face” of the business
  • Day to day administration/general office duties
  • Assist with social media and marketing activities
  • Maintain customer database records
  • Facilities management - procurement of office supplies and consumables, oversee cleaning and maintenance of office/hangar facilities and equipment
  • Other duties as directed by the CEO

Our Ideal Candidate

You may be a marketing graduate, have a background in aviation or come from an environment of high end hospitality.  Whatever your previous experience, we value just as highly the personal characteristics that will assist your success in this particular role.  Thus you will have:-

  • impeccable personal grooming and deportment
  • excellent English both written and spoken
  • a confident, warm and easygoing nature that puts guests at ease
  • a strong sense of responsibility, accountability and initiative
  • the ability to multi-task and deal with new situations in a calm and efficient manner
  • high level admin skills including proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products and a fast, accurate typing speed
  • experience with social media and marketing activities.
