Technology Compliance Manager - CPS230 and DORA

We have an exciting opportunity for a **Technology Compliance Manager** to join our dynamic Technology Risk team on an **18 month fixed term opportunity** based in **Sydney.**

Our Technology Risk team provides Line 1 operational risk and compliance support to our Technology Business Unit. This includes regulatory compliance and the delivery of Technology's controls assurance programme.

You'll support our team to ensure that Technology is well positioned to meet our new regulatory obligations in relation to **CPS 230 and DORA**. In addition, you'll also work with the overall Technology Business Unit, along with the Line 2 Risk and Compliance team and the Chief Operating Office, to provide key input and support into these regulatory programs.

**What you'll do**
- Support the implementation of the new prudential standard **CPS 230 Operational Risk Management** and build a profile of compliance with the obligations on behalf of Technology, including but not limited to operational resilience, business continuity, material service providers and operational risk profiles.
- Support and coordinate the implementation of the Digital Operational Resilience Act (**DORA**), which is the regulation that aims to strengthen the information and communication technology (ICT) security of financial entities in the European Union (EU).
- Co-ordinate with key stakeholders aligned to Technology and across the organisation in identifying, documenting and mapping existing controls and risks to obligations, including the identification of any gaps.
- Keep up with obligation changes and control improvements.

- Well-developed analytical skills and a pragmatic approach to problem solving and decision making. The ability to work in a high paced environment and make data driven decisions is essential.
- Experience in developing, implementing, and overseeing regulatory obligations.
- Excellent communication skills and exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to negotiate with all levels of management, make recommendations and implement change.
- The ability to be adaptable to changing needs and priorities as they arise, as well as the resilience to navigate through ambiguity.
- The ability to work well in a diverse team-based environment, as well as autonomously.
